The perfect on-the-go-snack!
Filled with healthy fats and complex carbohydrates, these energy bites are the boost you need to fight the afternoon slump!
You wil need:
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup ground flax seeds
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup raisins
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large bowl
Measuring cups
Fork or large spoon to mix
Airtight container for storage
Directions:
Add dry ingredients to a bowl and mix.
Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla and mix until combined. (this is a workout!)
Cover and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Roll into 1-inch sized balls - this recipe makes 24 bites!
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
These can be left at room temperature when you're on-the-go!
